About Learn Mindfully

Meet Roberta Dombrowski

I built a career that looked great on paper. And then I walked away from it.

For most of my career, I was what most people call “a lot”. I moved fast, wore a lot of hats: Learning Designer, Product Manager, User Researcher; and never quite fit into one lane. In an industry that rewards specialization, being multipassionate felt like a liability. So I did what most of us do: I kept adapting, proving, and moving to the next thing hoping it would finally feel like enough.

By 29, I was a VP at a Series A startup. From the outside, I looked like I'd figured it out. From the inside, I was exhausted. I was carrying the weight of constantly having to justify my seat at the table and there was no room left for the work that was actually lighting me up.

In 2023, I made the decision to step away from my executive role and go all in on my coaching practice. It wasn’t a clean exit. It was messy and uncertain and the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.

What I wish someone had told me sooner is that being multipassionate was never the problem. The systems I was trying to fit into were.

That realization changed everything about how I work with people. I’m not here to help you find a better box to fit into. I’m here to help you stop needing one.

📍 I’m currently based in Boston, MA with my husband, son, and two cats who have very strong opinions about everything. When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me in the garden, on my meditation cushion, or experimenting with something new in the kitchen.

Roberta is a strategist, coach, and thought partner for folks who are done following someone else’s blueprint.

ABOUT ROBERTA

Roberta is an ICF- certified coach, leadership strategist, and founder of Learn Mindfully, a coaching and consulting practice dedicated to helping values-led leaders design work that honors who they are, not just what they can produce.

With over 12 years of experience working at the intersection of learning, research, and organizational design, Roberta brings a rare blend of strategic rigor and human-centered depth to her work with clients. Her background spans tech, academia, non-profits, including a VP-level role she stepped away from in 2023 to build something more aligned with her own values.

She works with clients who are done with the corporate script and ready to design something of their own - whether that means building a business on the side, going fully independent, or creating a portfolio of work that reflects the full range of who they are. Her approach integrates coaching, consulting, and strategic thinking to help clients move from clarity to action in a way that actually sticks.

Roberta is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, deepening her already trauma-informed approach to work. She believes that sustainable, meaningful work isn’t just a strategic question but a deeply personal one.
