For the ones exhausted by what is, and curious about what could be.

Hi, I’m Roberta.

My coaching and counseling practice is built on 15+ years of experience across learning design, product management, and user research — in corporate, academic, nonprofit, and startup environments. I've sat inside the systems my clients are trying to navigate, which is exactly why I do this work differently.

I started my career driven by passion.

At my core, I believe that learning is a fundamental right and that everyone deserves access to the resources they need to thrive, not just survive. This led me to pursue my master's in Organizational Development and Workplace Learning, and to lead teams at edtech companies like edX, Pluralsight, and Year Up. I believed the deal: work hard, get results. I did the work. The deal didn't hold.

The wake-up call

After graduating, I spent most of my working life navigating systems and environments that simply weren't built for me. Work became a way for me to prove my competence, develop self-worth, and find meaning. It worked; until it didn't anymore. I made it to VP at the age of 29. I often felt the isolating experience of being the only woman, the only person of color, or both, within teams and entire organizations. I carried the weight of having to constantly prove my value. It wasn't sustainable, and it didn't leave time for what mattered most. My body eventually forced the wake-up call my mind kept avoiding.

I started my practice in 2023

After working with my own coach, I decided to walk away from the career that looked great on paper. I opened my career coaching practice. Since then, I've worked with thousands of clients who are exploring what work truly means to them, and making the hard choices around whether to stay, leave, or design something for themselves.

What clients are saying

  • Roberta listens deeply, asks thoughtful questions, and is incredibly good at identifying insights beneath what you’re saying. She uses a variety of exercises and activities to help you uncover what works for you and what doesn’t. They never felt cookie-cutter. They were practical and genuinely useful. Through our work, I gained more clarity and confidence about what I wanted and how to navigate my career. I ended up getting a promotion and later an opportunity to move into an entirely new discipline. Highly recommend Roberta's help if you're experiencing workplace challenges or trying to figure out your next steps.

    Courtney, Senior Product Manager

  • I started working with her because something wasn’t quite right in my career path. I was a high performer and yet I felt hollow when it came to work. Through thoughtful conversations and exercises with Roberta, I was able to define the problem and formulate a path forward to explore new roles that better align with my values. Roberta’s supportive and empathetic approach was exactly what I needed to take that leap. I still leverage several of the strategies she taught me on a daily basis. If you’re feeling like something needs to change or you’re looking to grow in a specific area, I highly recommend partnering with Roberta!
