Passion for learning.

I believe that learning is a fundamental human right. Everyone deserves access to the resources they need to thrive, not just survive.

I’ve dedicated my work to empowering leaders, teams, and organizations. I have my masters in Organizational Development and Workplace Learning from Boise State University.

I’ve also led teams at ed-tech companies like edX, Pluralsight, and Year Up.

Climbing the ladder.

As a self described “job hopper” in the tech industry, I explored roles ranging from Learning Designer to Product Manager to User Researcher, rising to VP of User Research by the age of 29. But rapid success came at a cost.

In executive roles, I often carried the isolating experience of being the only woman and/or person of color in the room.

The pressure to constantly prove my value wasn’t sustainable. It took a work related injury caused by anxiety to serve as my much-needed wake-up call.

Transition to coaching.

Working with my own executive coach, I realized my true passion is helping others be their best at work. I made the courageous leap to become a certified coach, dedicating my practice to supporting “only’s” – individuals who feel alone in their perspective, values, or identity.

I am the creator of the Learn Mindfully coaching programs. My approach integrates the head, heart, and body, helping clients reconnect with themselves, their work, and the people around them.

Rooted in values.

Lead with intention.

We’re intentional. We consider different paths and options. We believe in the power of doing things on purpose rather than reactionary responses.

Stay curious, keep learning.

We are always a work in progress. We’re awake to new ways of trying things and believe every opportunity brings learning lessons.

Let it be easeful.

It doesn’t have to be hard. Rest is an act of self wisdom and love. It helps us recharge so we are energized and can impact the world for good.

Stay rooted.
