You already know something has to change. The hard part is figuring out what to do next.
The What’s Next Intensive is a half-day coaching session for women in tech who are done waiting for clarity to show up on it’s own.
Something has to change. You know it. Circling the decision isn't making it easier.
The What's Next Intensive is a focused half-day coaching session for women in tech at a crossroads: layoff, toxic situation, pivot you've been putting off.
We cut through the noise and build a plan you can actually execute.
Whatever got you here: you don't need more time to think about it. You need someone to help you think clearly, and a concrete plan to move.
One half-day session. Pre-work before, follow-up support after.
Our goals:
Cut through the noise and turn it into a decision you can commit to
Build a realistic transition plan - whether it’s an exit strategy, sabbatical or next chapter
Get the logistics out of your head and onto paper - timeline, finances, non-negotiables, and first moves
Leave with a 90 day plan you can execute without needed to rethink the decision every time doubt shows up
Know what to do when it gets hard - because it will and they’ve been through it too
Have someone who will tell you the truth about whats realistic, whats fear, and whats actually worth protecting

“In previous roles, I was burned out and immediately left. When I worked with Roberta, I wanted a way to exit my corporate job without immediately running away. Together we made a plan on what it would look like. I wanted a certain amount of money saved up, to pull back on home expenses. We set a deadline. I felt hopeful I was running towards something that would make me feel happier in the long run.”
Why It Works
Most coaching focuses on what to do. We start with who you are, what you actually need right now - because a plan built with someone else in mind won’t hold when the pressure gets real.
Most decision making frameworks treat it like a logic problem. We focus on the big picture because decisions made from fear, burnout, or obligation don’t last
Most programs are prebuilt. This is built entirely around you. Your situation, your timeline, your decision.
That's the power of the What’s Next Intensive.
Who Will Get The Most Out of This
Who this isn’t for
❌You want someone to tell you exactly what to do
❌ Youre looking for job search tactics: resume reviews, LinkedIn optimization, and interview prep are not what this is
❌ You’re expecting a plan that removes all risk
Who this is for
✅ You’re at a breaking point - a layoff, a toxic environment, a pivot you can’t put off any longer
✅ You exhausted by the loop - researching, delaying, second-guessing, repeating
✅ You’re making decisions from fear or obligation, and you want one you can actually stand behind
✅ You know the answer is somewhere inside of you, you just need the right support to get there
✅ You’re ready to do the real work and put together a concrete plan
Meet your CoachHi, I’m Roberta Dombrowski
I left my VP role at a pivotal moment - not because I had everything figured out, but because I’d finally gotten honest about what I couldn’t keep doing. I spent years making career decisions based on what made sense on paper: title, comp, status. And each time, I found myself in the same place.
When I finally sat down to figure out what I actually wanted, everything shifted. Not because I found the perfect answer, but because I got clear enough to trust the next step.
Since then, I’ve worked with hundreds of women facing this exact moment: the layoff they didn’t see coming, the toxic environment they can’t justify staying in, the pivot they need to make but can’t quite commit to. The thing that keeps them stuck isn’t lack of options - it’s clarity about what they need right now.
That’s why I created the What’s Next Intensive. It’s what I wish I had before making my hardest transitions.

Our intensive roadmap
Together we’ll work through 3 phases, specifically designed around your specific situation, timeline, and decision.
Get honest
Get clear
Get moving
Step 1Get honest
Name what's actually happening - not the story you've been telling yourself
The Old Way: Enduring to manage the peace. Letting fear masquerade as planning. Avoiding the logistics because it makes the decision feel more real.
The New Way: We slow down and get underneath the surface. What’s actually at stake for you? What are you most afraid of? What would you do if no one had an opinion about it? You’ll get a clear view of the real situation, not the version you’ve been trying to manage.
✅Quick Win Example: A design leader came in focused on managing up in a toxic environment. By getting honest about her actual situation, she realized the only real question was when to leave, not whether to.
Step 2Get clear
Define what a successful transition looks like for you - and separate it from what you've been conditioned to want.
The Old Way: Borrowing someone else’s version of a transition plan without checking if it fits your life. Defining success vaguely (more balance, work that feels meaningful)
The New Way: We get specific about what the transition needs to include for it to be worth it. What are your financial constraints? What does the first 90 days look like? We get specific and turn your decision into a real plan.
✅ Quick Win Example: A research leader built her ideal work profile narrowing down the specific requirements for her next role. She went into her job search knowing what she was looking for instead of hoping she'd recognize it when she saw it
Step 3Get moving
Build your roadmap with real next steps - and the confidence to actually take them.
The Old Way: Making a plan that looks good on paper but doesn’t account for your situation. Losing the momentum within a week because real-life friction steps in.
The New Way: We close the intensive by translating everything we’ve uncovered into a clear, realistic 30-60-90 day plan. You’ll get a grounded set of actions that match your capacity, values, and season you're in. You’ll know what you're doing next and what to do when the doubt inevitably creeps back in.
✅ Quick Win Example: A research leader who’d been debating whether to stay in her role, put together her exit plan. She stepped down from her role 60 days later.

No. This is coaching, which means we're focused on where you are now and what you're going to do about it, not processing the past. That said, we're not staying surface level either. We go to the real stuff. If something comes up that feels like it needs clinical support, I'll say so.

We follow a structured process: Get Honest, Get Clear, Get Moving; but it's built entirely around your specific situation. There's no script. We go where the work actually is. You'll come in having completed a pre-call reflection so we're not spending the first hour getting up to speed. Most women are surprised by how much ground we cover in three hours.

Three things: clarity on the real decision in front of you, a concrete plan for your next moves, and a written summary (the What's Next Plan) that captures your key insights so you have something to return to when the doubt creeps back in. You also get a week of follow-up support after the session to troubleshoot and recalibrate as needed.
